Thanh returned to his native Vietnam after earning his master’s degree in finance at Clark. Today, he manages two investment funds at Dynam Capital, including a closed-end fund listed on the London Stock Exchange and dedicated to sustainable investments in Vietnamese equities.

“I applied to 10 universities in the United States and chose Clark. I was very impressed by the welcome I received when I arrived on campus for orientation week. And in my first semester, they were already talking about careers.”

After graduating from Clark with a Master’s of Science in Data Analytics, Apoorva landed a position as an Integration Engineer at Luma Health, makers of a patient engagement platform that automates patient-provider communications.

“I appreciated the inclusive environment at Clark. My voice mattered. I was encouraged to speak up. As an international student adjusting to culture and language nuances, that encouragement was so important to me, both academically and socially.”

After earning his master’s degree from the Sustainability and Social Justice Department, Romain returned to his home of Burkina Faso, West Africa, where he helps grassroots associations advance community development initiatives. “Clark has people from all different countries, so by meeting these people, I was able to say, ‘What I had in my mind three or four years ago is challenged by other perspectives.’”

After earning his master’s degree in Information Technology at Clark, Gio advanced to multiple leadership positions at JPMorgan Chase & Co, including VP of Risk Remediation, VP of Information Security Management, and VP of Technology Risks and Controls.

“What matters in the IT field is your experience and how you transfer knowledge to people. The instruction at Clark is both academic and very hands-on, thanks to professors who use IT tools as practitioners. I took everything I learned about Tableau and Splunk and applied it in my job.”
