Clark recognizes that the best educational experience unfolds in a healthy and safe environment. This is our priority.
We are committed to ensuring that our students, faculty, staff, and visitors can approach their time on campus with peace of mind and body, and that essential services and resources are in place and easily accessed when the need arises.
Wellness Education
The driving mission of Wellness Education at Clark is to create a culture of equitable wellness, resilience, and adaptability. Our services and programming aim to increase students’ education, skills, supports, and practices needed to build a holistically healthy lifestyle.
Health Services
Contracted through UMass Memorial Medical Group, Clark’s Health Services provides acute illness care, gynecological and contraceptive services, health counseling and education. Staff includes registered nurses, nurse practitioners, and part-time physicians.
Counseling and Personal Growth
The Center for Counseling and Personal Growth offers comprehensive mental health services, including individual and group psychotherapy, outreach, consultation, and advocacy to nurture students’ well-being and cultivate an experience that is welcoming and supportive.
Recreation
Clark offers a variety of recreational sports, including club and intramural teams, for those looking to compete and have fun without the demands of varsity athletics. Whether your passion lies on the basketball court or on the ice, our range of programs will keep you active.
Facilities
The multipurpose Kneller Athletic Center is Clark’s primary athletic facility. Located in the center of campus, it includes a swimming pool, racquetball/squash courts, gymnasium, and fitness center. To use the facility, you must have a valid Clark ID or athletic facilities pass.
